The Restaurant at Dinner Time

If I feel so hungry, I usually go to restaurant to find some food with my beloved friend or family. That’s why restaurant become one of my favorite place because I really like to eat.

One of my favorite restaurant is “Waroeng Steak and Shake”. In Denpasar, it has 2 branch. One in Renon and the other one in Gatot Subroto Street. But, I more often go to the restaurant in Renon.

The restaurant is very orderly and clean. When we arrive there, we’ll see the parking area. Beside the parking area, there are rooms for the visitors to eat their food. Next to this room, there is a kitchen which place for the chef to cook the food. Near the kitchen, there is a cashier which place for the visitors to pay their food and drink. In front of the cashier and along the wall, there are also rooms for visitors.

 The food and drink in this restaurant is very delicious. There are chicken steak, beef steak, fried potato, beef burger, milkshake, tea ice, juice and many others. The price of the food also not very expensive. It’s so appropriate for teenager or adult. The waiter and the waitress is also very friendly. It make s the visitors feel comfortable there.

Some days ago, I went there to have dinner with my friend. The situation is very crowded. In front of me, there was a happy family who’s eating their steak. Next to them, there were 10-15 people who gathered together while talked something and sometimes, they laughed loudly. Behind them, there was a couple who drank milkshake and they’re so romantic couple.

Although this restaurant is always crowded at night, But, it doesn’t make us feel disturbing each other with the other visitors. We feel so comfortable. It's because the situation is very enjoyable with fun music which can make us feel so relax.

Free Hugs Campaign

Have you ever heard about free hug? Or have you ever seen this activity in your society? Free hug is an activity which hug other people to share our love and happiness. With hug, we can realize that many people care about us. Hug is one way to keep the togetherness in our society because we can not life without the other people, and that’s why togetherness is very important for us.

There was a tall man who has long hair walked along the street and bring “free hugs” sign.  At first the people didn’t have a good response to him. Maybe they though that the man was crazy. No one wanted to close with him. And then, some minutes later there was a grandmother came to him and hugs him. It was the turning point caused the free hugs to begin to happen. After the grandmother, there was a girl who wanted to hug him. And one by one person wanted to hug him. After that, some people joined to bring the “free hugs” sign. They hugged each other. I think when they hugged each other, they felt so happy.  They felt that they’re not alone in this world. It’s full of togetherness.

But, suddenly the police came and stopped the campaign. They didn’t give any permission to them to hug there. I think it’s because the police though that this activity disturbed the people who walked on the street. After the police stop the campaign, the people tried to submit the signature. It means that the people who put the signature supported this activity. There are many people who interested with this part. One by one people put their signature there. From 83, 136, 572 and finally he got 10.000 signatures. In the end, the man and the people hugged each other. They looked so happy. People who didn’t know each other, at the end become knowing each other. It made they’re aware each other.

The main point is in this world the togetherness is decreasing. The people don’t care each other. But, with “free hug”, it makes the people realize that togetherness is very important. They try to care each other. When they hugged each other, they felt so happy. They realize that they’re not alone in this world. There are people who always want to help them anytime. Sometimes, a hug is all what we need. With a hug, we can feel more comfortable and more confident because we have many people who always support us.

           So, don’t doubt to share your hug. :)
